More like Dad

A few days ago, Tim got glasses. For him, the best part was the cool yellow Nickelodeon case they came in.
As he took his first few steps at Costco after getting his glasses, he stepped very tentatively. He said he couldn't tell if there were stairs or not. He also said, "It seems like there is a wave below me and it is getting higher and higher." Apparently the ground seemed a lot closer!
Tim is also excited to be more like his dad. I think it helps a ton knowing his dad wears them too. The glasses don't really slow him down at all. Although, it did take a couple
days for him to want to wear them all the time. When we tell people about Tim's new glasses, Mary also reminds us that she also has glasses, sunglasses. I think she likes her glasses even more than Tim likes his. We picked out her $3 glasses at Walmart. When she found out Tim was getting glasses and she couldn't get the Hannah Montana glasses she had grown so fond of at Costco, I told her that maybe she could get her own sunglasses so she could be like Timmy-kind of.

Both kids look great. I think some of the most wonderful people wear glasses, but I might be bias. :) Your kids are growing up so much. Give them hugs from us. Kendra
