One last hiking memory to savor for the next year and a half-when we can do it again!

We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have been able to spend some time with my parents during their P-day while they were in the MTC. I picked them up, they did a little laundry and we were able to enjoy an awesome Fall day with a hike to Timpanogos Falls. The Fall scenery was absolutely beautiful. We have loved hiking with my parents and the kiddos these last few years. They are good sports to take our crew along. We will savor this memory until we get to do it all together again!
Jeff even joined in on the fun. (Notice Dad's tag on his pocket)

Emily's kids were even with us for the weekend so they got to join in. Here we are after returning from a scrumptious dinner at Brick Oven. I have to mention the highlight of the Brick Oven. The kids absolutely loved it when the balloon man came. He fortunately, finally made it to our table. The boys all got Spiderman balloons and Mary got an Ariel. Here they are at the end of the day reading Pinkalicious with Grandma.
Here they are while Grandpa is reading a spooky ghost story. Notice Mary is holding her Ariel. :)

that looks like a great time! I am amazed it was still warm enough over there for shorts and a t-shirt. Love the updates!

Michelle, I love all of your pictures. It looks like your kids had a lot of fun with Grandma and Grandpa before they left. It's hard to see them leave, but their mission can be a great experience for your kids too. I remember getting letters from my Grandma and dolls from Germany when my grandma was on a mission.
