I pretty much think the best/funnest holiday is Christmas Eve. Christmas is fun, but I think the anticipation that leads up to the special day is hard to beat. You know how fm100 starts Christmas music like the day after Halloween? I think it's pretty ridiculous, but in a way kinda cool that people are just that excited to start the Holiday season. Well, December 26th hits and their Christmas music is completely over and done. What? Did all that anticipation really have to die that fast? I really think we can at least kind of enjoy it until New Years. Hey, we enjoyed it for two months previous. Anyway, back to my point, I love the feelings of excitement that lead up to Christmas. The lights, music, Christmas TV specials, parties, getting fun mail, snow, nativities, singing carols in the car, doorbell-ditched treats on the front door, driving around Orem at bedtime just to see the giant snow globes and lights. Yes, I love it all. It is the best now with kids and just watching their excitement. I am still a little kid at heart. I still have a hard time sleeping Christmas Eve night; I was so happy to hear the kids voices at 7am Christmas morning asking if we could go open presents. Here are just a few pictures of our Christmas Eve/Christmas Day fun.
